I uused vintage Hawaiian fanric, and two tropicalbatiks that mother bought me over decade ago. It's hard to see, but used vintage floriform buttons.I am going to add another row of ribbon just above the bottom ruffle. I used the following pattern.
The worst part was the bottom ruffle. I am not sure just how long it was, but it needed to be gathered into 104" at the bottom of the skirt. In my infinite wisdom, I made the gather stitches in one continuous line. If I make another, I will gather put the gathering stitches on each of the 6 panels separately.
